Scores of ordinary citizens, many communities and business organizations have registered their support of the extension of Route 53 in Lake County.
Many Lake County communities have passed resolutions in support of the Route 53 extension.
Fourteen Chambers of Commerce plus many other public-private organizations have backed the extension, including the Lake County Farm Bureau.
Also, many of Lake County's legislative leaders - including State Senator Dan Duffy, State Representatives Sidney Mathias and JoAnn Osmond, Lake County Board Chair Suzi Schmidt, and Lake County Supervisor Dave Stolman - have spoken in favor of the Route 53 extension.
